We had technical problems and were not able to show the film. However, the screening is rescheduled for mid January. Attendees included Wildife and Fisheries grad students and doctoral candidates at Texas A&M University. While we were waiting for the techs, attendees had a rich discussion on how the film acts as a mechanism for agitation in the climate action movement. We also discussed the implications of the delegitimization of climate science on conservation efforts and on the practice of science, in general.

Our second attempt at the event turned out wonderfully. We had around 35 people attend. Following the screening, one of the doctoral students in our department whose research focus is science and advocacy led a discussion on scientist views and response to climate change. The discussion lasted for over an hour. We got great feedback from the event and I would gladly hold a similar event again.
